Terms of Use
The rules and guidelines that govern your use of LanderBlock
These Minecraft marketplace terms govern your access to and use of the LanderBlock platform, including all pages, features, and services we provide. By creating an account, browsing the shop, purchasing a build, or uploading content, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.
About LanderBlock
- LanderBlock is an independent Minecraft build marketplace that allows users to buy and sell digital Minecraft worlds, schematics, and map files.
- We are not affiliated with Mojang Studios or Microsoft. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang AB.
- We do not sell the Minecraft game itself, nor do we provide any official Mojang or Microsoft services.
- LanderBlock operates as a platform connecting creators (sellers) with players (buyers) — we are not the author of the builds sold on the marketplace.
Eligibility
- To use LanderBlock as a buyer, you must be at least 13 years old.
- To use LanderBlock as a creator, you must be at least 18 years old.
- Users aged 13–17 may only sell through an account created and managed by a parent or legal guardian, who assumes full legal and financial responsibility.
- Users under 13 are not permitted to create an account. See our Age Policy for full details.
Buying Builds
- All purchases on LanderBlock are one-time digital downloads.
- Buyers receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the purchased build for personal purposes.
- Buyers may not redistribute, resell, re-upload, or publicly share purchased builds without the creator’s explicit written permission.
- Downloads are available immediately upon successful payment.
- Refunds are handled per our Refund Policy.
- For installation help, visit our Guides section.
Selling Builds
- Creators must upload original work only — builds must be created by the seller or the seller must hold the rights to distribute them.
- Builds must not contain copyrighted third-party intellectual property (e.g. Hogwarts, Skyrim, Star Wars) unless the creator holds a valid licence.
- Creators must not imply any official Mojang, Microsoft, or Minecraft partnership or endorsement.
- All builds must work in vanilla Minecraft — no mods, datapacks, resource packs, or external dependencies that require the buyer to install additional software.
- Creators are responsible for ensuring their content complies with our Creator Guidelines and these Minecraft marketplace terms.
Payments & Commission
- LanderBlock retains a commission on each sale. The current rate is displayed in the creator dashboard before a listing is published.
- Payouts are processed via Stripe Connect to the bank account or payment method linked by the creator.
- Minimum payout thresholds may apply — details are available in the creator dashboard.
- Creators are solely responsible for reporting and paying any taxes, duties, or levies on their earnings in their jurisdiction.
Intellectual Property
- Creators retain full ownership of their builds at all times.
- By uploading content to LanderBlock, creators grant us a non-exclusive licence to display, distribute, and promote their builds on and in connection with the platform.
- When a creator deletes their account, we do not retain the right to continue selling their content unless a separate agreement has been reached.
Prohibited Content
- Builds containing malicious files, viruses, malware, or exploits.
- Content that infringes on third-party copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights.
- Offensive, discriminatory, sexually explicit, or illegal content.
- Non-Minecraft content, content requiring mods or plugins, or content that misrepresents what the buyer will receive.
Refunds
Refund eligibility is governed by our Refund Policy. In summary, refunds are available when a build file is corrupted, incomplete, or materially different from the listing description. Change-of-mind refunds are not available for digital products. Requests must be submitted within seven days of purchase.
Limitation of Liability
- LanderBlock is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
- We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the use of builds purchased on the platform.
- We are not responsible for disputes between buyers and creators beyond the scope of our stated Refund Policy.
- Our total liability to any user shall not exceed the amount that user has paid to LanderBlock in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Changes to These Minecraft Marketplace Terms
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or best practices. When we make significant changes, we will notify users via email or a prominent notice on the platform. Continued use of LanderBlock after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
